LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A Fayette County District Court judge dismissed a charge of distributing obscene matter to a minor against a Lexington high school football coach Thursday, according to a report by the Lexington Herald-Leader.

Henry Clay head football coach Phillip Hawkins was accused in April of showing multiple minors photos of a nude woman, according to court records.

Prosecutors introduced the motion to dismiss because they could not prove the facts necessary to support a conviction, according to the Herald-Leader.

Fayette County Public Schools put Hawkins on administrative leave over the summer.
